Indian Valley Community:
It is my honor and privilege to serve as Director of Student Services for Indian Valley Local Schools. I believe all children have the ability to learn and become productive, responsible citizens, when given the right tools and a caring, nuturing environment. The Special Education Department at Indian Valley will give that to your child, putting their needs first and pushing them to achieve at their highest level. I look forward to working with all of you. Go Braves!
Director of Student Services
Indian Valley Local School District is reaching out to families in our community that may have a child with special needs. Public schools are required by Federal and State law to evaluate any child from birth to 21 suspected to have a disability. Special education services are available through the public schools for children ages 3 through 21 identified with a disability. If you have a child or know of a child you suspect may have a disability under the Individuals with Disabilities Improvement Act or Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, please contact Talia St.Clair, Director of Special Education at 740-254-4334.
Resources are now available to help your school promote OhioMeansJobs K-12. State law requires schools to share this education and career planning tool via newsletter and website by April 1, 2015. Whether you are a classroom teacher, school counselor, administrator, parent or community member, there are tools to support you with helping students begin using the OhioMeansJobs.
