Indian Valley Academics Rank #65 out of 608 Ohio School Districts
Performance Index is a measure of how well a school district's  students perform on State tests.  It not only takes into consideration how many students pass the tests, but by how much they pass.  Higher scores are given more weight than "barely passed" scores.
Also, in the world of standardized tests, schools from highly affluent areas typically score better than schools from poorer rural areas.  It is common to see affluent suburban school distircts at the top of the rankings.
The cleveland.com article linked below reports of a study that controlled for socio-economic factors to see which school distircts are actually doing the best on their performance index.  Indian Valley ranks #65 out of the 608 public school distircts in Ohio according to this report.
Our district mission statement reads, "Persistent academic and social problem solvers pursuing the career pathway of their choice."  Indian Valley is producing students that are meeting that vision.  Go Braves!
